Our client is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to safely manage the movement, loading, and unloading of electronic waste and materials within their facility. Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of electronic waste and recyclables.
Transport materials to designated areas within the facility.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflows.
Requirements of the Forklift Operator
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift operator certification.
Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Compensation/Benefits for the Forklift Operator
Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: Starting out at $19 DOE
