The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated, experienced Cook to help us produce our soups at volume while holding the bar high on quality, flavor, and consistency. You’ll work in our commercial kitchen prepping, cooking, and batching soups, and helping keep our production running smoothly through the busy market season.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and cook our plant-based soup line from scratch following established recipes
- Handle prep work: washing, chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients
- Cook in batches and scale recipes accurately for weekend market volume
- Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen at all times
- Help manage inventory, labeling, and storage
- Pitch in across the operation as a small, growing team does

- Real kitchen experience — you’ve cooked at volume and know your way around a professional kitchen
- Dedication and reliability — you show up, you take pride in your work, you finish what you start
- A growth mindset — you want to grow with a company, not just clock in
- Comfort with plant-based cooking (or genuine enthusiasm to learn it)
- Strong knife skills, time management, and attention to detail
- Food safety knowledge (ServSafe or willingness to certify a plus)
- Able to lift and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
