Strong written and verbal communication skills

High level of professionalism when interacting with attorneys, clients, and third parties

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Knowledge of state and federal e-filing systems and procedures

Experience with electronic document management and file-sharing systems

Understanding of the litigation process and the role of a legal assistant

Familiarity with timekeeping, billing, and general administrative support processes

Ability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new technology
Responsibilities

Prepare and submit conflict checks and open new client matters

Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties at attorney direction

Manage and organize case files
-
Calendar and track court deadlines and litigation milestones

Assist attorneys with time entry and billing support

Prepare attorney reimbursements and office expense reports

Provide general administrative and office support as needed
