CDL DRIVER
Experienced Dump Truck, Water Truck, End dump, Transport driver(s) with a minimum of 2-3 years’ CDL experience.
$25-30 Pay depending on experience levels.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Operate Manual shift transmission efficiently and safely.
· Able to haul, dirt, asphalt, broken concrete, debris, water, and rock and boulders.
· Able to get out of the truck and work when needed.
· Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols of the equipment including pre and post trip inspections.
· Responsible for understanding changes to assigned work areas and any potential hazards.
· Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy.
· Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures.
· Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed.
· Good critical thinking skills with the ability to observe and assess situations and anticipate issues before they occur.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Employee may be required to work in environments that may include exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and noise.
· Keep worksite clean and organized. No unnecessary hazards.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Qualified candidates may occasionally operate heavy equipment.
· Experience working in a mining/industrial environment a plus.
Requirements
· Safety - comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety.
· Personal protective equipment is required, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
· Flexibility to stay late, when necessary, with little or no notice.
· Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.
· Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens (including Marijuana).
· Valid CDL Driver’s License and medical card.
· Clean 3-year driving record (must be insurable)
