Preferred Personnel Solutions is hiring Machine Operators for a well-established, and growing, food-grade manufacturing company located in Villa Rica!
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Qualifications:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:
- Previous food-grade experience preferred
- Able to work on machines, gears, belts, etc.
- Able to run the line and fix minimum issues
- At least 2 years’ experience with Machine Operating and able to train on their machine
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Turbanato, Float, Roll pack experience is a plus!
- Must be willing be submit to a drug screening and background check
Job Duties:
- Prepare Your Machine, Lines, and Teammates
- Meet with the Operator from the previous shift to learn about any problems, challenges, or concerns they may have encountered in order to ensure a smooth hand-off and start-up
- Review daily schedule and properly prepare for the requirements of that day’s shift
- Observe Machine Operators Run and Lead their Lines Safely and Effectively
- Check that all safety mechanisms are working properly and that all team members understand and adhere to safety rules
- Inspect machine and line to ensure readiness for safe start-up
- Check settings and match to product run using graphical interface
- Ensure machines run at expected standards
- Troubleshoot machine operations and determine when to take the machine off-line in the event of a safety and/or quality problem
- Work with maintenance team on any mechanical problems
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and line
Shift Details: Monday-Friday - 3:30PM-3:30AM
