Cardiovascular Sonographer | US Heart and Vascular | Orion Medical
Orion Medical is in search of a Full Time Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team in southeast Houston.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs 2-D Echo, stress echocardiography and Doppler studies.

Perform vascular testing (preferred) including carotid doppler, upper and lower extremities arterial doppler, upper and lower extremities venous doppler, venous Insufficiency ultrasound, abdominal aortic aneurysm screening ultrasound, ABIs.

Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.

Ensures all required licensure/certification always remain active/current.

Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.

At all times protects the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) of patients per HIPAA regulations; including does not review his/her own record, or records of employees or co-workers without a “need to know”.

Actively demonstrates teamwork.

Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.

Always adheres to company safety standards.

Other duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of one year of experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply

Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular (ARDMS or CCI) is required, current BLS certification.
