Home Healthcare Specialist – Full Time

$13–$15/hour | 40 hours per week (Preferred shift: 6 AM – 6 PM, flexible)
We’re hiring a dependable and compassionate Home Healthcare Specialist for a long-term, full-time role supporting an elderly individual currently in hospice care. This is not just a job — it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s final stage of life.
You’ll be stepping into an essential position, providing both physical and emotional care in a one-on-one setting. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient, attentive to detail, and committed to delivering excellent personal care with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the client’s living area
- Monitor the client’s comfort and report any changes in condition
- Offer companionship and emotional support throughout the day
- Support any additional daily living needs with compassion and attentiveness
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in home care, hospice, or personal caregiving preferred
- Strong reliability and punctuality — someone who can be counted on consistently
- Gentle and patient communication skills, with a calm and caring demeanor
- Ability to maintain professionalism while building trust with both the patient and family
- Flexibility with hours and willingness to work longer shifts if needed
- Must be able to pass a background check and provide professional references
Requirements:
- Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation
- Home is not near any public transportation
- Applicants who have not lived in the state of PA for the last 2 years will be required to also have and FBI clearances done.
- A Child Abuse Cleanance is also required for any clients where a child lives in the home.
- Also required is one of the following: two step TB test, a TB chest x-ray or a QuantiFERON gold TB blood test.
Schedule:
- Full-time: 40 hours/week
- Preferred shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Flexible scheduling available depending on your availability and client needs
