The Handyman / Construction Foreman In Training will support residential construction, renovations, and repair projects, and ensuring quality workmanship.
At IronCrest you will work primarily with residential remodel and renovation.
This role offers a clear path for advancement into a foreman or project management position, requiring hands-on construction skills, basic tool operation, and effective team coordination with minimal travel.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and construction support tasks
- Handle materials and operate basic construction equipment safely
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures
- Coordinate team activities and resolve on-site problems efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years+ experience in construction
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of construction techniques across multiple trades
- Proficiency with power tool operation
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Own Basic Tools
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
