What you’ll do:

This position is responsible for supervising and overseeing testing and inspecting fire alarm systems in specified buildings. Responsible for execution of fire alarm contract scope, customer satisfaction, renewal of existing contracts and growing new contract opportunities. Supervises and directs the work of Test & Inspect helpers and/or leads. Identifies and reports problems or discrepancies. Ensures customer satisfaction for all inspections. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Key responsibilities include:

Oversee and support Sprinkler & Fire Alarm Inspectors’ daily activities, recommend hiring and promotions, and provide consistent training to enhance team capabilities.

Maintain complete understanding of company policies and ensure inspectors align with them, promoting compliance and accountability.

Foster a culture of customer-centric service excellence by removing operational obstacles and motivating employees to exceed performance targets.

Collaborate with Inspection Coordinators to streamline scheduling and ensure thorough review of deficiency inspection reports, driving continuous improvement.

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among teams and customers, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.

Ensure all operations meet contractual obligations, prepare projections, and consistently aim to maximize the productivity of assigned field personnel.

Meet with customers and inspectors monthly to strengthen satisfaction and uphold quality standards, fostering trust and collaboration across teams
What you bring:
-
Solid supervisory skills.
-
Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
-
3+ years of management experience, preferably in a similar industry.
-
3+ years of experience in the fire protection/life safety industry.
-
Strong knowledge of fire regulations and codes (e.g., OFC, ULC).

Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for tact and diplomacy.

High School Diploma or equivalent; NICET certification preferred.

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
-
Prepared to pass pre-employment background and drug tests and obtain required licenses as per national, state, and local codes.
