Irving Montessori Academy is looking for a dynamic, energetic and proactive individuals who can be part of our growth at our Montessori school located in Irving at Beltline and Northgate Dr intersection.
We multiple openings for qualified child caretakers, teachers to help the children from 6 weeks through age 12, who are in Infant, Toddler, Pre-School and After School Programs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Our child care teachers are responsible for providing passionate and quality care for every child with their mental, physical and educational growth.
Position Name: Room Teacher (Montessori Certified) - (Primary, Pre-School and After-School)
**** LICENCE, EXPERIENCE and WILLINGNESS TO DRIVE SCHOOL VAN TO DROP-OFF AND PICKUP FROM NEARBY SCHOOLS WILL BE A MAJOR PLUS ******
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 18 years of age and high school diploma or GED certificate required.
- Early education experience, BA, AA or CDA highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a state licensed facility OR 24 hours of documented pre-service training required.
Required experience
Child Care: 2 year preferred (1 year minimum)
Required education
High school or equivalent
CDA / Montessori Certification is preferred
