Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated "As-Needed" part-time Security Officer to join our team as a Patrol Officer. This position would work overnight hours 1 to 3 nights per week. Applicants must be available Saturday through Wednesday nights. The ideal candidate MUST be 25 years or older and have a clean driving record. Candidates MUST have a background in any of the following: military service, law enforcement, corrections, or armed security. Retired individuals are encouraged to apply. Candidate MUST be available early evening through the overnight from 3:30pm to 6:00am and the working days of the week may vary. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Patrol Vehicle in a safe manor.
- Check that business doors are locked.
- Conduct extensive building walk through checks.
- Handle conflicts in a professional manner.
Experience:
- Previous experience in Law Enforcement, Corrections, Armed Security or related fields is preferred.
- Proficient in using a smartphone and their related software apps.
- Strong conflict management skills.
