Associated Constructors LLC is looking to hire a heavy equipment operator.
Position Summary
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy machinery to complete construction, excavation, grading, and material handling projects. The ideal candidate has experience operating multiple types of equipment, follows safety procedures, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy.
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and material loading operations.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete pre- and post-shift reports.
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Assist with general labor duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment.
- Ability to safely operate multiple types of heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
