Job Overview

Duties
- Lead and manage the 2nd shift production team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability
- Develop and execute production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules to meet delivery deadlines
- Monitor production performance metrics through Excel data analysis and manufacturing management systems to identify areas for improvement
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain management, quality control, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and executing process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies across all shifts
Requirements
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of supply chain analytics and operations management
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or similar manufacturing management software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma principles, and process improvement strategies
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and assembly processes
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster cross-functional communication, and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and plant management best practices
- Excellent organizational skills with experience in production scheduling, planning, and supply chain management
