Cleaner – Warehouse Facility (East Syracuse, NY)Job Summary
ClearView Commercial Cleaning is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and energetic individual to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of a warehouse facility in East Syracuse. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and enjoys being part of a team that delivers exceptional service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all customer safety and security procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the office areas, restrooms, meeting rooms, and break rooms.
- Clean warehouse floors by sweeping, mopping, using a leaf blower, and operating drivable auto scrubbers.
- Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility and transport waste to designated dumpster areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the parking lot and exterior grounds by removing visible litter and debris.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory needs to be replenished.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns observed during the shift.
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned. Full job responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications
- Background check is required for this role.
- Valid driver's license required to operate drivable auto scrubbers.
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, floor care techniques, sanitation standards, and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to safely lift and move equipment and supplies, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Professional communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.
Schedule
- Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Days Off: Wednesday and Sunday
