Pediatric dentistry practice looking for a friendly, energetic registered dental hygienist to join our growing team. Duties include but not limited to: obtaining/reviewing patient medical histories, obtaining prescribed radiographs, performing dental cleanings, providing oral hygiene/dietary instruction, assisting dentist with examinations, assisting dentist with sealant application, assisting dentist with SDF application, assisting dentist with dental procedures, maintaining accurate patient records/documentation, and assisting with instrument sterilization/infection control protocols. Prior pediatric dental experience strongly preferred.
Current hours: One Monday/month 8am-4:30pm, Every Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-4:30pm, two Thursdays/month 8am-4:30pm, and two Fridays/month 7:30-2pm. Modified hours in summer for Thursdays 7:30am-2pm. Potential for expansion of hours with growth of practice.
Experience with Open Dental software, a positive. Job requirements include: Current PA Dental Hygiene License, BLS, and PA Child clearances. Practice able to assist and reimburse fees for clearances as needed.
