Duties
- Assist with the installation, assembly, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards.
- Support pipe threading, tube bending, and fitting activities using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise assembly
- Prepare materials by measuring with calipers, performing basic math calculations, and organizing components for efficient workflow
- Support rigging and lifting operations on construction sites to position pipes and sprinkler components safely
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling tools such as soldering equipment, pipe cutters, and other mechanical tools
Skills
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler fitting, plumbing systems, and pipeline assembly
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and rigging equipment on construction sites or manufacturing environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise installation tasks
- Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously while working on construction or manufacturing sites
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
