About the Role
EMPIGO Technologies is seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team.The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, documenting, and presenting technology solutions for prospective and existing clients. The Solutions Architect participates in client discovery meetings, technology assessments, project scoping, solution design, proposal development, and statement of work creation. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor while supporting company growth through new project and recurring revenue opportunities. Primary Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales and Solution Design (33% effort)
- Conduct technical discovery sessions.
- Support client success managers sales team members during opportunity pursuit.
Client Consulting (33% effort)
- Conduct IT assessments and technology reviews.
- Provide strategic technical recommendations.
- Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Present technical concepts in business-friendly language.
Operational Engineer Support (33% effort)
- Maintain proficiency and preserve operational awareness by participating in escalated support incidents and advanced troubleshooting efforts.
- Provide Tier 2/3 engineering assistance for complex technical issues.
- Assist service desk and project teams with technical problem resolution.
- Participate in change management reviews and technical validation activities.
- Support onboarding, migration, and infrastructure projects when architectural expertise is beneficial.
- Maintain proficiency in the company's core technology platforms, tools, and service delivery processes.
- Document technical standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in technical training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Maintain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity, networking, business continuity, endpoint management, and other core service offerings.
- Work with project engineers during implementation handoff.
- Participate in service improvement initiatives.
- Participate in prospect meetings and technical presentations.
- Develop technical scope of works, budgets, assumptions, and implementation plans.
- Assess client environments and business requirements.
- Design Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure, networking, security, and business continuity solutions.
- Develop technical recommendations and strategic roadmaps.
- Produce diagrams, technical documentation, and migration plans.
Qualifications
Experience
- 3-7 years of IT engineering experience.
- 1+ years of client-facing consulting experience or MSP experience
- MSP experience preferred.
- Experience with project scoping and technical documentation.
