Responsibilities
- Open the café each morning by unlocking doors, turning on equipment, and preparing the space for service
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Handle retail sales transactions including cash handling, POS operations, and processing payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to support kitchen staff during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is a plus
- Strong skills in Coffee preparation, cashiering, and retail sales transactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during opening hours
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work early mornings reliably as part of a consistent schedule
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory checks
- Previous café or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
