We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager / Household Assistant who takes a hands-on approach to their work. This is a full time role with an hourly pay of $40-$45. This is an ON-SITE role located in Tribeca and Soho, NY.
Your main responsibilities will involve managing several properties located in Tribeca / Soho, and acting as a Property Manager overseeing all projects and staff, while also assisting with some Household Assistant tasks. Proactively anticipating needs and resolving issues as they arise will be crucial. We are looking for a mature, organized professional who can handle a wide range of responsibilities, with a “no task too big or small“ mindset.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience as a Household Manager or Property Manager
- Highly organized; a lover of Excel spreadsheets and attention to detail
- Willingness to take on a wide array of tasks and ability to keep many plates spinning at once; the ability to prioritize and manage time wisely
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate concisely
- Extremely personable and skilled at relationship building
- Ability to thrive and solve problems under pressure
- Forward thinking; ability to anticipate clients needs and adapt quickly
- MUST be comfortable being on-site 5 days a week if needed
Responsibilities
- Manage vendors, on-site staff, contractors etc. - act as a spokesperson for the clients on all matters, sometimes making administrative decisions and take action in the client’s absence
- Act as a property manager overseeing projects and liaising with and/or hire other family staff, vendors, and contractors for various projects
- Ensure properties are well maintained - coordinating any routine work, keeping stock of inventory, organizing and overseeing vendors, etc.
- Act as Chief Problem Solver when household issues arise
- Coordinate projects by capturing timelines, strategies, and delivering progress updates
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Manage furniture items- setup delivery for items, manage progress, oversee delivery and unpacking
- Assist with weekly stocking of household, unboxing items, shipments etc.
