Position Overview
The Landscape Enhancement Foreman plays a key leadership role in delivering high-quality landscape improvements and upgrades for residential and commercial properties.
You’ll lead enhancement crews performing projects such as planting, mulching, bed renovations, seasonal color, and light hardscape work, while managing schedules, materials, and client expectations.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in detail, efficiency, and developing a strong, accountable team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a crew to complete landscape enhancement projects efficiently and safely
- Perform and oversee work including:
- Planting trees, shrubs, and seasonal color
- Mulching, bed edging, and cleanups
- Bed renovations and property enhancements
- Minor hardscape and improvement projects
- Read work orders and plans to execute jobs accurately
- Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to company standards
- Maintain job site organization, cleanliness, and safety
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members—lead by example
- Coordinate daily with operations and management team
- Communicate effectively with clients when needed on-site
- Operate trucks, trailers, and equipment as needed
- Track job progress, materials, and daily production
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4+ years of landscape enhancement or related experience
- Prior crew leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of:
- Plant material and installation practices
- Mulching, pruning, and landscape detailing
- Basic hardscape and improvement work
- Ability to read plans and work orders
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical labor daily
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work long, active days
- Availability for seasonal hours, including occasional weekends
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
