Ray Of Sunshine Developmental Services mission is to work with pediatric children in multiple disciplines in an effort to support children in reaching their fullest potential through compassionate, evidence based, and family centered care.
Ray of Sunshine Developmental Services is seeking a special instructor to provide services and make a difference in the lives of children aged 0-3 in the home, daycare/preschool and community settings in Northumberland, Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union counties providing Early Intervention services. The Special Instructor will have the ability to build a caseload and create their own schedule.
This is a independent contractor position(1099). The hourly rate includes the service hour, paperwork(session note), and commute to the location.
Job Responsibilities include:
- working one-on-one with a child with to meet their related needs
- scheduling appointments with parents
- implementing individual service plan
- writing timely and clinically appropriate session notes as well as quarterly and annual evaluations.
- ability to collaborate effectively with child's team (parents/therapists/service coordinator/etc.)
- completion of pre-service training and ongoing yearly training as required
Requirements include:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Early Intervention, Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or Family Studies which includes 15 credit hours in early intervention, early childhood special education, special education, or family studies.
- One year of pediatric experience, preferred
- Back ground checks required: Child Abuse clearance, PA State Police check, FBI Fingerprints, mandated reporter are permitted to provide therapy services.
