· Must be in good physical shape. Ability to climb steel columns, bracing or stairs while loaded with a full tool belt and harness.
· Excellent balance and ability to maneuver on steel members at elevations in excess of 100’.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Ironworker trade. References required
Must have experience in metal building erections (PEMB)
· Must be able to recognize fit up problems with steel members and communicate with foreman
· Ability to do basic mathematic calculations.
· Willingness to adhere to all company safety policies.
· Ability to use all hand tools required (bull pins, sleever bar, spud cresents, beater, positon harness, tape measure)
· Ability to signal cranes, either by hand or with radio’s
· Knowledge of rigging
