American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT(R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of experience to perform CT and X-ray procedures on a night shift schedule.

13-week assignment in the CT Tech unit
-
Adult acute care, adult outpatient, and Emergency Department settings
-
Performs CT scans and X-rays
-
Night shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday from 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM
-
First week is day shift for orientation to CT and X-ray departments
-
No on-call requirements
-
Rotational holiday coverage required alongside existing staff
-
Travelers are expected to float within the hospital as needed

Preferred experience with Meditech charting system

Preferred experience on GE CT scanners
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience required

ARRT(R)(CT) certification and BLS required
-
License required if applicable

Skills in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
-
Experience with abdomen and pelvis CT imaging, with and without contrast
-
Experience with head and neck imaging, including carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and trauma head studies
-
Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging, including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma
-
Experience with chest imaging, including vascular chest studies such as CTA and pulmonary embolism protocols
-
Experience with special procedures including CT arthrography and vascular CTA
-
Proficiency with GE equipment and PACS systems
-
Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
-
Responsibilities include performing CT scans and X-rays across a range of clinical applications

Candidates open to alternate shifts should indicate this during consideration

First-time travelers will be considered

Local candidates accepted at the same rate

No set mileage restriction

Facility requests completion of required labs within 48-72 hours of contract signing to ensure timely clearance for start

Previous staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months and remain in good standing to be eligible for return
