Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems with enthusiasm and precision. Your technical expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service and reliable vehicle maintenance. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components including engines, transmissions, and related systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Conduct repairs on vehicle suspension systems and wheel alignment to enhance safety and handling.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues within automotive electrical systems.
- Service and repair diesel engines and other specialized powertrain components with attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong mechanical background.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools including hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures across various brands, especially GM vehicles preferred.
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology and automotive wiring diagrams.
- Strong understanding of vehicle transmission systems, powertrain components, and suspension system repair.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with technical proficiency to deliver quality automotive service.
