We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of construction equipment—including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, graders, rollers, and more. Help us maximize uptime and keep our job sites productive and safe!

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment

Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections

Replace or repair defective parts and components

Test equipment for proper operation and regulatory compliance
-
Troubleshoot using diagrams, manuals, and electronic diagnostic tools
-
Document all repairs, parts usage, and maintenance performed
-
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
-
Collaborate closely with operators and supervisors to resolve issues quickly
-
Perform service in shop and/or field
-
3+ years’ hands-on experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or in a similar role
-
Strong knowledge of construction equipment systems (hydraulics, powertrain, electrical, etc.)

Critical thinking and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

Self-motivated with a commitment to quality and safety

Effective communicator with a positive attitude and team spirit
-
Comfortable using diagnostic software and service manuals

Required:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance/repair
-
Valid driver's license and good driving record
-
Ability to lift 50lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

Own a basic set of mechanic’s tools

Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card

Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background check, drug test)

Preferred:

Technical school or certification in diesel/heavy equipment technology

Experience with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, or similar

Mobile service/field repair experience
