A cooler with drinks water and snacks will also always be available few each job.
Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport household or commercial items using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when certified.
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit.
- Drive box trucks or <PERSON> vehicles following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe driving practices on designated routes.
- Load and unload items efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines in the workplace.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the moving process, timelines, and safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and readiness for each move.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and vehicle operation to prevent injuries.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with heavy lifting and manual handling is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience; experience operating box trucks or <PERSON> drivers is highly desirable.
- Experience in delivery driving or courier services is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and sustained movement throughout shifts.
- Commitment to safe lifting practices and adherence to all safety guidelines during moving operations.

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
