Position Summary
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting new and existing products that drive the company’s production line and customer solutions. This role plays a key part in new product development (NPD), troubleshooting technical challenges, and improving design efficiency, quality, and manufacturability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop new products and components based on customer requirements
· Support new product development (NPD), prototyping, and product launches
· Create, revise, and maintain 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
· Establish and maintain product design standards, work instructions, and technical documentation
· Evaluate product accept/reject criteria and support manufacturing decisions
· Identify opportunities to improve design efficiency, quality, and productivity
· Collaborate with Quality to investigate customer complaints and ensure corrective actions
· Participate in corrective and preventive action activities related to quality and safety
· Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other teams
· Perform research, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to product performance
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
· 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
· Strong experience with CAD software (Inventor and/or SolidWorks preferred)
· Experience creating and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and documentation
· Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems
· Knowledge of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes
· Familiarity with manufacturing test equipment and validation methods
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based, cross-functional environment
· Technical writing experience preferred
· NetSuite experience is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $69,779.23 - $84,035.20 per year
