JOB
Assists in coordination and implementation of a six-week recreation program for school-age children (kindergarten through 8th grade). Assists in supervising all direct recreation leaders and support staff along with administers recreational activities at assigned site. Organizes recreational programs, field trips, events and arts & crafts. Assists in oversight of the promotion of recreational activities at a specific site and maintains a safe learning environment. May direct the support staff as needed in absence of Site Supervisor.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Must be 18 years of age or older with at least 1 year of experience managing children in a professional setting (teaching, childcare, summer camps etc).CPR/AED/First Aid certification and MAT Certification, or ability to attain one.This job is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment checks to include criminal history, and background record checks.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
