Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated UPK 3 Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and toddler care, with experience in UPK settings. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters creative learning through play using the Creative Curriculum
Responsibilities
- Creating and implementing weekly plans
- Foster a learning environment that stimulates child growth and development
- Ensure a clean and healthy classroom atmosphere
- Create and develop strong parent and child relationships
- Maintain communication with parents
- Complete student observations, assessments, and daily documentation.
- Attend regularly scheduled professional development and staff training sessions
- Ensure compliance with DOH regulations
- Must be articulate, reliable, and possesses a professional demeanor
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or on track.
- Teaching certification in Early Childhood Education or on track.
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles for young learners
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
