WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The primary responsibility of the IT Business Analyst is to provide users with support for the technology and systems that support Steiner’s business. This role works closely with users to understand business needs, identify requirements, troubleshoot issues, determine solutions, and ensure systems and applications are effectively supporting business operations.
- Provide support to users by gathering and interpreting information, identifying requirements, determining solutions, and communicating solutions back to users.
- Test system modifications and enhancements to ensure they meet customer and user requirements following installation.
- Develop and maintain system procedure documentation for newly installed modifications and operating procedures.
- Conduct application and system training for users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues by identifying causes, determining solutions, and communicating resolutions to users.
- Perform report validation to help ensure system and data accuracy.
- Communicate technical information and solutions in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Analyze large quantities of data while understanding product data requirements and the impact of inaccurate data entry.
- Communicate and track project status using project management software.
