Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Sales and Catering Coordinator to lead our event planning and sales efforts. In this dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind securing banquet bookings, coordinating catering services, and ensuring seamless execution of events. Essential duties:
· Manage the entire event lifecycle—from initial inquiry through final execution—ensuring all client needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm.
· Coordinate with vendors, staff, and clients to ensure timely setup, execution, and breakdown of events while maintaining high standards of guest service.
· Maintain detailed records of bookings, contracts, payments, and client preferences to streamline operations and improve future service delivery.
· Assist in the process of scheduling and supervising of appointed banquet staff.
· Perform office duties such as: Typing Contracts and Banquet Event Orders, Respond to emails, phone calls and walk in inquires.
Qualifications:
· Associates Degree or previous banquet experience is a plus, not required.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a must.
· Knowledge of Caterease a plus, not required.
· Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, and team members.
· Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in planning multiple events simultaneously.
· Customer service-oriented mindset focused on creating memorable guest experiences.
· Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude.
· Ability to work long hours and variable shifts (weekends and holidays)
· Ability to stand for a long period of time.
· Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
