Estep Builders is hiring a Lead Carpenter to oversee and perform all phases of residential construction. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can preform carpentry work from the ground up while managing a small crew.
Duties
- Layout and frame floors, walls, and roofs
- Install sheathing, windows, and exterior doors
- Complete exterior work including siding, trim, fascia, and soffit
- Perform interior finish work (doors, trim, cabinets, punch-out)
- Operate equipment (skid steer, material handling, light grading/trenching)
- Coordinate daily tasks and workflow for crew members
- Maintain job site organization, safety, and productivity
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and plans
Requirements
- Proven experience in all carpentry phases of residential carpentry (rough & finish)
- Ability to read and execute construction plans
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience operating equipment (preferred)
- Reliable, accountable, and detail-oriented
- Personal tools are required
