Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of indoor and outdoor areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques, using industrial cleaning methods.
- Utilize hand tools, floor buffing machines, and other specialized equipment to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, and outdoor work that require physical strength and stamina.
- Follow strict safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and fire extinguishers when necessary.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing special attention or repair, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Operate ladders safely for tasks at height, including window washing or ceiling vent cleaning.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding professionally to client inquiries or requests during service visits.
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to use ladders safely and efficiently for elevated cleaning tasks.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and hand tools.
- Familiarity with safety procedures including PPE usage, manual handling techniques, and fire extinguisher operation.
- Outdoor work experience is advantageous, especially in varied weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and extended periods of active work.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working independently or as part of a team.
