Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 annually, based on experience

We're looking for a talented Tax Accountant who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping clients succeed through strategic tax planning and business consulting.
What You'll Do
As a Tax Accountant, you'll work directly with business owners and leadership teams to provide valuable tax and financial guidance that drives results.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering strategic tax planning and business consulting services
- Analyze financial data and business operations to identify tax-saving opportunities and improve profitability
- Prepare and review tax returns, provisions, payments, and related compliance filings
- Research and resolve complex tax and financial issues
- Advise clients on entity structuring, strategic transactions, and the tax implications of business decisions
- Help clients maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and proactive communication
- Collaborate with professionals across audit, advisory, wealth management, and other service lines
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports and supporting analysis
- Stay current on changing tax laws, regulations, and industry trends
- Manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, high-quality work with minimal supervision
What Makes You Successful
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4–7 years of experience in public accounting, tax consulting, or a related advisory role
- Strong understanding of tax compliance, financial reporting, and business operations
- Ability to interpret financial statements and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA license strongly preferred
- Experience providing consultative services to business clients
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Schedule
This is a Full-Time position typically working:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST
- 45–55 hours per week during peak tax seasons (January–April, September, and October)
