Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Preparer to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and power tools.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, as well as power tools including sanders, drills, and airless paint sprayers
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics to follow project plans precisely
- Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship in finishing work including restoration or renovation projects
- Valid construction site experience with knowledge of safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (ppe)
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
