Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and serving
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting stations to maintain a clean dining environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues quickly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
- Support guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to provide expert recommendations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for guest interaction and teamwork
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and check splitting
- Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or kitchen support is advantageous
