The SharePoint Developer - Senior will support the development, deployment, and maintenance of SharePoint solutions. The candidate will work closely with project managers, end users, and IT teams to design and implement collaborative workflows and custom solutions that enhance business processes. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of SharePoint environments, configuration, and customization to meet organizational needs while ensuring alignment with security and privacy policies. The project supports IMCOM at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and support SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists.

Customize SharePoint workflows, web parts, and solutions based on user requirements.

Collaborate with end-users to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure that SharePoint design and features align with organizational security, information architecture, and usability best practices.

Perform troubleshooting and debugging of SharePoint-related issues.

Maintain system documentation and develop user guides as necessary.

Assist in SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and system improvements.

Participate in testing and quality assurance processes for new SharePoint solutions.

Provide support for SharePoint administration, including permissions management and site configuration.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience solving technical problems (or managing the solution of technical problems) in the last eight (8) years.

A minimum of an interim Secret Clearance is required by start date.

Experience working with SharePoint 2013, 2016, or SharePoint Online.

Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, workflows, and customization.
-
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and client-side frameworks for SharePoint customization.

Knowledge of SharePoint Designer

Experience in troubleshooting SharePoint issues and providing ongoing technical support.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or any other scientific or technical discipline is required OR four (4) additional years of applicable experience may be substituted for the degree.

Must be available to work 7:00am - 4:00pm Central Time
Preferred Qualifications:

Experienced working with Power Automate and PowerApps.
