We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Traveling Industrial Project Manager to lead large-scale industrial construction projects across multiple locations. This role offers the opportunity to oversee all phases of project execution, from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will excel in project coordination, managing diverse teams, and utilizing advanced construction management software to deliver projects on time and within scope. Duties
- Lead and coordinate multiple industrial construction projects across various sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to track progress and milestones.
- Oversee construction estimating processes by reviewing blueprints, schematics, and contracts to prepare accurate cost projections.
- Manage project budgets by monitoring expenditures and implementing cost control measures.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project flow.
- Conduct site inspections utilizing Civil 3D and HeavyBid software to ensure compliance with design plans and technical standards.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction activities and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, reports, change orders, and safety records.
- Ensure all work aligns with industry standards such as construction management software best practices and project scheduling requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety standards on-site and conducting regular safety audits. Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or project coordination within heavy civil or industrial sectors; previous site experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other construction management software.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and blueprint reading skills.
- Familiarity with contracts management and schematic interpretation for complex industrial projects.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple sites.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams remotely while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- A background in construction site experience within industrial or heavy civil projects is preferred.
