This is a 1099 independent contractor role in which you set your own program pricing and bill your own clients directly (we can also help bill for you.) The range reflects typical effective hourly earnings at market program rates — Luma does not pay an hourly wage. Full economics, including the platform fee, are described below.
Luma Health is a physician-owned telehealth practice licensed in all 50 states. We work with independent dietitians and health professionals who have their own clients and want to offer them these programs. Our physicians and licensed 503A pharmacies handle everything medical. You keep the client relationship, and you set and keep your own program fee.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO OFFER
Physician-supervised weight management. Hormone programs, with baseline labs required before anything starts and ongoing monitoring after. Peptide protocols across recovery, longevity, and metabolic categories. And a full lab panel menu.
Right now, when a client asks about any of that, you have to tell them you cannot help. This is how you can.
HOW IT WORKS
You invite a client to enroll and help them select a program. They complete an intake, our physician evaluates them, orders baseline labs, and decides on a protocol — or decides not to prescribe, which happens and is the point of a real evaluation. Licensed pharmacies ship direct to the patient. Refills, monitoring, and every clinical question come to us. You provide the nutrition and accountability work you already do, and you charge for it.
What you never do: prescribe, dose, interpret labs, or handle, stock, etc. Nothing ever ships to you. That structure is deliberate — it is what lets you offer this without a prescriber's license and without carrying the liability.
WHAT YOU EARN
You set your own program pricing and keep 100 percent of it. Nothing caps it. Market rates for programs like these typically run $150 to $400 per client per month, but what you charge is your decision, and it recurs monthly for as long as the client stays enrolled.
The medical evaluation and the medication are billed separately at our published rates and go to the licensed parties providing them. You do not mark those up, and you do not carry that risk or that margin.
WHO THIS WORKS FOR
- Active, unrestricted RD/RDN license in at least one U.S. state
- An established client base — realistically 100+ active clients, because the program economics typically don't below that and we would rather tell you now. Five clients a month in this program is bare minimum to be profitable.
- Comfortable working remotely in a web portal
- Clean licensure history
ONE HARD REQUIREMENT
This is a regulated category. No drug claims, no efficacy promises, no before-and-after photos, and no naming compounded medications — ever, in anything you write or say to a client. We provide approved materials. It is the one thing we do not coach twice.
