Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, kitchen appliances, and other facility machinery.
- Troubleshoot issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly and accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty components in appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Install new appliances, HVAC equipment, and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site maintenance tasks or equipment deliveries as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate complex repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven service technician experience with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring plans effectively.
- Experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance and appliance installation is a plus.
- Familiarity with maintenance operations within construction or industrial environments enhances your suitability for this role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with leadership qualities to guide team efforts when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various settings is required.
