Position Overview:
COGEBI, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support all incoming and outgoing shipments, including both domestic and international freight. This is a hands-on warehouse position that combines shipping and receiving, documentation, inventory control, material handling, and coordination with production and management.
Important relocation and training information: COGEBI is currently relocating its U.S. operations from Dover, New Hampshire to Summerville, South Carolina. The position will initially require travel to Dover, NH for training and transition support. COGEBI plans to officially begin full-time operations in Summerville, SC no later than the end of October 2026. Candidates should be comfortable participating in this transition and learning existing shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse procedures during the training period.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate, facilitate, and perform activities related to incoming and outgoing domestic and international shipments.
Prepare materials for shipment, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
Prepare and verify shipping documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, Certificates of Conformance, lab certificates, and Certificates of Origin.
Receive incoming shipments, open and inspect materials, and verify that packing lists match the materials received.
Immediately identify and report shipment discrepancies, shortages, or damage.
Label received material as needed and deliver or stage material in the proper warehouse location.
Follow established procedures for receiving raw materials and maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs.
Ensure work is accurate, neat, and in conformance with company policies, procedures, and Customer CARE requirements.
Monitor shipping/packing workflow and help maintain productivity and on-time shipment performance.
Take ownership of shipping and receiving issues and work with management and other departments to resolve them.
Inspect material-handling equipment for defects and notify management when service or repair is required.
Monitor shipping supplies and submit purchase requests as needed.
Perform and oversee accurate cycle counts and support inventory accuracy.
Ensure material is pulled, organized, and rotated according to FIFO standards.
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse and shipping/receiving area.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory-control experience is preferred.
Experience preparing shipping paperwork and working with domestic and/or international freight is preferred.
Comfort using computers and software to prepare, process, and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and follow-through.
Ability to identify problems, collect relevant information, establish facts, and determine appropriate solutions.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and units of measure.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, management, carriers, vendors, and other business partners.
Ability to work independently while also coordinating effectively with production and operations teams.
Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when business needs require it.
Training & Relocation Transition:
Initial travel to COGEBI's Dover, New Hampshire facility will be required for hands-on training.
Training will focus on current shipping/receiving procedures, documentation, inventory processes, customer requirements, and transition of operations to South Carolina.
The permanent work location will be COGEBI's Summerville, South Carolina facility once full-time operations begin.
Full-time operations in Summerville are planned to begin no later than the end of October 2026.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.39 per hour
