Position Overview
Compass Pain and Wellness is seeking a highly motivated person to assist our innovative Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Program. This position is ideal for anyone with an undergraduate, graduate or PhD in a psychology or neuropsychology related field, particularly those with experience in psychological testing, brain injury assessment, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary program management.
A successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, interpersonal communication skills, organizational leadership, and a passion for helping patients affected by TBI.
Essential Responsibilities
Clinical Evaluations and Assessment
- Perform patient evaluations, including administration of standardized assessments.
- Coordinate clinical data collection from interdisciplinary providers.
- Analyze, interpret, and draft evaluation reports, license depending.
- Document reports within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Patient Care Coordination
- Facilitate patient enrollment and transition into the program.
- Coordinate care among interdisciplinary treatment team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Promote patient engagement, participation, and adherence throughout the program.
- Ensure continuity of care and effective communication among all providers.
- Manage program logistics, supplies, educational materials, and operational resources.
Qualifications Required
- Undergraduate or higher degree in psychology, neuroscience or a related field.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated experience working with patients with traumatic brain injury, concussion, neurocognitive disorders, or neurological rehabilitation.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and report-writing skills.
- Experience coordinating care within interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Administrative or program management experience within healthcare settings.
