Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Job description:
About us
The Bay Area Crisis Nursery has been a sanctuary for children from birth through 5 years old since 1981. BACN’s mission is simple, yet powerful—to prevent child abuse and neglect by providing supportive services to families. Our goal is to keep families safe and together, preventing children from entering the foster care system and supporting families in alleviating the effects of poverty. For many families, we are their last hope and only support system.
The children who stay with us have parents who are experiencing homelessness, escaping domestic violence, have medical or mental health emergencies, have lost their childcare or their job, are experiencing parental stress, and more. We have been there for families for 40 years and look forward to another 40+ of keeping children safe and providing supportive services to parents.
Please only apply if you have completed 12 ECE units and have 3 years of experience in childcare. Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
