The Lead Quality Engineer serves as the technical authority for quality, directing day-to-day quality work and leading the resolution of complex quality issues. This role partners closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Service to ensure that products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements while remaining highly hands-on in quality engineering work.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own supplier quality activities, including supplier assessments, audits, corrective actions, and ongoing performance monitoring.
Develop, maintain, and improve inspection plans, checklists, and acceptance criteria for finished goods and in‑process inspections.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Effective communicator who partners well with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
