Multi-Skilled Construction TechnicianPosition Summary
We're looking for dependable, hardworking construction professionals with experience in at least one of the following trades:
- Drywall
- Flooring
- Roofing
- Exterior Cladding/Siding
- Finish Carpentry
Experience in multiple trades is a plus but not required. If you have strong experience in one of these areas and are eager to expand your skill set, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary based on your experience and may include:
- Install drywall, flooring, roofing, exterior cladding, and interior finishes according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
- Measure, cut, and install materials accurately using hand and power tools.
- Safely operate construction equipment and tools while following all safety procedures.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and building codes.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
- Complete finish work including trim installation, caulking, painting, plastering, and restoration as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Follow company safety standards and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should have experience in at least one of the following:
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Flooring installation (LVP, laminate, hardwood, tile, etc.)
- Roofing
- Exterior siding or cladding installation
- Finish carpentry
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Skills)
The following skills are highly desirable but not required:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Cabinet installation
- Door and hardware installation
- Glass installation
- Fixture installation
- Concrete work
- Masonry
- Welding
- Stucco
- Remodeling and restoration
- Bluebeam or other construction management software
- Construction estimating
- Construction inspection and quality control
