Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate curricula that promote learning and development.
- Supervise teaching staff and classroom activities to ensure compliance with educational standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with families to foster strong relationships, address concerns, and promote community involvement.
- Develop strategic plans for program growth, quality improvement, and staff training initiatives.
- Oversee administrative functions such as enrollment processes, licensing compliance, and record keeping.
- Represent the organization at community events through public speaking engagements and outreach activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in early childhood management with a focus on classroom supervision.
- Strong background in curriculum development, teaching, and working directly with young children.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams of educators or childcare professionals.
- Excellent communication skills for staff coaching, and parent engagement.
- Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, fundraising strategies, and management best practices.
- Supervising experience in a childcare or educational setting is helpful.
- Education in Child Development, or a related field.
