Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumber Technician to join our team and help deliver top-quality plumbing solutions across various construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that water systems operate efficiently, comply with local building codes, and meet client expectations. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures in new construction and remodeling projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Conduct plumbing inspections to identify issues and perform system maintenance or repairs as needed
- Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations during all phases of work while ensuring quality standards are met
- Assist with construction site setup, heavy lifting, carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations, and remodeling activities
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems and recommend effective solutions for system optimization
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in commercial or residential settings
- Hands-on experience with construction plumbing systems, including water systems and schematics interpretation
- Skilled in welding, pipe threading, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Familiarity with plumbing inspection cameras, HVAC systems, hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate construction site equipment confidently
- Knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing installations and maintenance practices
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical specifications
- Carpentry or handyman experience is a plus for versatile project support
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel or material transport
