Neuromonitoring Technologies (NMT) is seeking to hire an experienced individual for a surgical neurophysiologist position, CNIM required.
NMT is a leading provider of contract intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) in the Maryland/ Washington DC surrounding area. NMT currently employs over 20 surgical neurophysiologists and board-certified neurologists that, collectively, cover over 6,000 IONM procedures annually. As a contract company, NMT provides IONM services at over 40 surgical locations in the area. This position allows you to be in different locations, but not have to travel extensive lengths or ever step foot on an airplane for work travel! All of NMT’s contracts are within driving distance of/in Maryland/Washington DC, and surrounding regions. Work weeks are Monday-Friday with weekend call shifts divided evenly amongst all staff. On average, a staff member would cover eight to nine weekend call shifts per calendar year with 1 holiday. Advance notice of designated call weekends/holiday provided (call schedule for the year typically comes out in November of the prior year). Additional rate of pay is also given for those worked weekend days and holiday.

Average work week is 34 hours.
Qualifications: COMPLETED CNIM certification, current and valid driver’s license, COVID-19 vaccination, personal and reliable transportation with comfort driving in all weather conditions and times of day, minimum 21 years of age, basic computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills- listening to surgical feedback and communicating with the surgical team, ability to tolerate being in an environment with bodily fluids and exposed human anatomy, strength to lift over 40 pounds, comfortable with a flexible schedule, ability to sit or stand fairly still for lengths of time, be able to watch a computer screen for long periods of time, comfort with intermittent breaks around surgical activity, and capability of passing background and full drug screenings. Relocation assistance negotiable.
Compensation: $75,000-$100,000. Total compensation package based on experience and modality skill set. Base salary with profit sharing bonus format. Semi-monthly pay schedule.
