Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking equipment and utensils.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or variations based on seasonal ingredients.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing high-quality food service for special occasions.
- Uphold fine dining standards by presenting pizzas attractively and ensuring exceptional taste.
Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant or culinary setting, particularly in pizza preparation.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality.
- Familiarity with menu planning and the ability to create innovative pizza recipes.
- Excellent culinary skills with an emphasis on meal preparation and presentation.
- Experience in catering services is a plus, particularly for fine dining events.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
