Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to lead our warehouse distribution operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficient coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, manage warehouse staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all shipments
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently to facilitate heavy lifting and materials movement
- Support e-commerce order fulfillment processes by managing order accuracy and timely dispatches
Experience
- Demonstrated leadership in warehouse supervision or team management roles
- Hands-on experience operating forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and RF scanners
- Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in inventory control tasks
